1. Let specific goals
Vague goals, such as "exercise more", don't help you figure out how you are going to improve your fitness. However, setting a more specific and measurable goal, such as "exercise at least 30 min 3 times a week" can help you meet and continue with your New Year's resolution goal.
2. Find an accountability buddy
When you feel like you are going through something on your own, it can be frustrating. If you find an accountability buddy, you can be more consistent with meeting your goals. And as humans like to please, we will work harder to make sure we don't let down our friends. This can help motivate us to stay consistent and work towards our goals.
3. Work with a Wellness Coach
Sometimes we have to look outside our current circle to find an accountability buddy.
